- The baler picks up, compacts and ties material into a large round bale using the fixed cylindrical chamber method. As the chamber fills, the bale is compacted inward, creating a soft core or "star-like" pattern in the center of the bale.
- You will start baling at higher moisture conditions because the inner core of the bale made by a fixed chamber is less dense. The material can breathe and cure without the spoilage that occurs in the "hard core" baled at at the same moisture content. This translates into higher productivity and better quality bales.
- The dense outer layer protects the inner material while in storage. This densely packed outer layer helps shed the rain, keeping the inside of the bale in virtually the same condition as the day it was made.
- Compare the simple design and mechanism of the fixed chamber baler to the complex serpentine belt and roller system of a variable chamber baler. This translates into ease of operation, ease of repair and lower maintenance costs.
Full Width Pick-Up: 6 tine bars with 11 double tines spaced at a narrow 2.75 inches help you get as much of your crop in as possible. The 6 bar design also allows the pick-uyp to rotate slower than 4 bar assembly, thereby extending the life of the pick-up mechanism.
Two Pick-Up Gauge Wheels: This helps the pick-up float over uneven terrain and protect the pick-up from damage. They also protect the pick-up during transport, with an "out of the way" transport position.
