The first four models up to 84" have open gearboxes. The model Y840G has an oil bath gearbox. There are two 108" models - the Y1080C has a 1,000 rpm gearbox and the Y1080D features a 540 rpm drive system.

Adjustable cup type skid shoes are standard on all models.

Three blade fans are on all models except the Y1080.

This model has a 4 blade fan, which is also available as an option on all other sizes.

Easily accessible chain tightener. Shear bolt protection is provided at the sprocket to the main auger, and is easily accessed by removing wing nuts and cover at the back of the housing.

A hitch system which is quick-hitch compatible is standard on all models. A longer 36" PTO shaft is optional on the Y740, Y840, and Y960 models.
A length-adjustable hitch is standard on all models except the Y960Q.

Model Y840G
The 84" model is for tractors from 60 HP to 90 HP.
It has a 540 RPM oil bath gearbox, #50 chain and a two-position adjustable hitch. The chute direction deflector control is manual, with hydraulic optional.

Model Y960Q
Here is 96" of snow clearing width for tractors from 90 HP to 125 HP.

It has a 540 RPM oil bath gearbox with #60 chain. The chute rotation is hydraulic (cylinder not included). Hydraulic cylinder kits, optional for rotator or deflector.

Shown here is an optional chute rotator cylinder kit.

For more than a generation, Buhler has been building the most popular snowblowers used on farms, airports and municipalities throughout the North American snow-belt.

A hydraulic motor engages a direct ring gear for smooth, positive rotation of the chute.

This heavy duty chute is constructed with heavier gauge steel and is lined with a replaceable UHMW poly material for less friction and wear.

The key to efficient snow blowing is the design of the fan and housing. Four blades with tight clearance at the circumference and a replaceable UHMW liner make this an excellent design.

This attachment plate makes your wheel or skid steer loader the best snowblower you could own. The heart and soul of these hydraulic snowblowers is the load sensing manifold which keeps all four functions operating efficiently, even as the snow gets deeper and more packed.

One set of remotes is all you need. Adjustment ports allow you to fine tune the flow and route of oil to ensure that the primary oil supply goes to the fan and auger, secondarily to the chute rotator and deflector. A cushioning feature in the valve body softens the speed of the rotation when it reaches the end of its rotating arc. The remote in-cab control allows the operator to divert oil flow to the chute controls.

This 3 point hitch, PTO driven blower is built with the same durable strength and features of the front mounted hydraulic models shown here.

Equipped with the same chute rotator as the hydraulically driven models, it also features a telescopic hitch, replaceable cutting edge, adjustable skid shoes, 4 blade fan, and replaceable UHMW poly liner in the fan housing and spout. Available in 84" size only.
