Sideshift Feature
The sideshift feature allows operation close to fences or hedges. The PTO shaft remains in line with the tractor to minimize stress on the universal joint. It is a feature on all models except the C6582. See the operator's manual for details on this important feature, or ask us to fax more detailed information to you.
Automatic Chain Tightener
This drawing (seen without the safety cover) shows the automatic chain tightener which is standard on all models. Skid shoes, also shown here, are used to vary the working depth of the tiller and are standard on all models.
Variable Tine Assemblies
See the specification charts for tine strength and number of flanges. For heavy soils and breaking untilled soil, we recommend the use of 4 tines, which are available with all models.
