The design of the tow-behind, 5-ft. wide, recirculating air T5R sweeper was completed in 1996. It's recirculation feature greatly reduces the cloud of dust-laden discharge air typical of older design sweepers. All components are powder coated then assembled with plated bolts. All components are replaceable in the event of damage, and there are no uncoated surfaces to contribute to hidden rust and corrosion. The unique design of the drive between the engine and impeller allows the drive belt to be replaced without tools. Only one wrench is required to adjust belt tension. This sweeper was designed with vastly improved manufacturability and maintainability built in. It's a pure vacuum sweeper - go from turf to hard surfaces with no adjustment required. No high-maintenance, expensive-to-replace rubber fingers.
