The H & S Model 175 Manure Spreader is ideal for the smaller scale farm, horseman or organic farming operation.
H & S Model 175 Manure Spreader, 175 Bu., uses an all welded heavy duty a-frame hitch assembly and full length unitized main frame. The jack is standard. The spreader box is constructed of corrosion resistant galvanized steel. All spreaders utilize a bonded poly floor to reduce main apron drag and power to move the load.
The optional hydraulic end gate is pictured at left. The large diameter beater with aggresive ripper paddles assures wide even chunk free spread patterns.
Shifting on the 175 is done in the H & S two speed gear box (left) plus beater shutoff. The engagement for the spreader is done simply by pulling the rope (right) and shifting the spreader to low, high or clean out.
The jack can be stored out of the way during operation so damage does not occur. Adjustments for the main apron are easy, by simply loosening the two side bolts and drawing up the long bolt.
