The H & S Model HP550VB Hydraulic Push Manure Spreader with Vertial Beaters features a super fast unload rate of 52 seconds at 15 GPM, poly bonded floor and a heavy duty frame to ensure strength and long life.

Heavy duty rectangular tubing is used for the pole and frame to ensure strength and long life. Structural channel floor supports spaced 8" apart are used for maximum floor support. Weight is distributed over the axles with 3" diameter stress proof spindles inserted into a sleeve.
All hydraulic push models use solid virgin grade poly with UV inhibitor, (HMWPE) for the floor and sides allowing less friction. The hydraulic endgate has 2 cylinders with 3/8" hose and pipe for faster operation in cold weather.
The H & S hydraulic push-off system on all models features a hydraulic variable speed control and two hydraulic cylinders that sequence to reduce push-off forces and fast unloading of material.
All models feature a variable speed control.
The HP5505VB can be ordered with an optional vertical beater assembly in lieu of the horizontal beater. Beater assemblies are interchangeable. Removal and installation of either beater assembly is done by removing the mounting bolts and a drive chain, interchanging beaters, then reinstalling the mounting bolts and drive chain. Beater gearboxes are safely mounted on the top side of the vertical beaters rather than the bottom to avoid being destroyed by foreign objects, the vertical beater features a quick release clean out pan. The left photo shows the pan in the open position for clean out, and the right photo shows the pan in the closed position for operation.
