The TW120, TW144 and TW168 are Available as a Three-Point Lift, Semi-Mount or Pull-Type Model and 540 or 1000 RPM to fit a Wide Range of Tractors. The Center Gearbox, Rated at 120 HP, Features 1-3/4" Splined Input and side Drive Shafts, and Tapered Roller Bearings for Added Durability and Longer Service Life. The Gearboxes and Cat 4 Driveline are Protected from Sudden Shockloads by an Adjustable Slip Clutch on the Main Driveline and by Torque Dampeners on Both Side Drives. All Twisters Feature a Heavily Reinforced, 10-Gauge Top Deck with Rounded-Edge Design for Enhanced Appearance, Easy Clean-Off and Added Strength. The TW144 cuts a full 144" swath of material. The center gearbox, rated at 120HP, transfers power to the 100 HP outboard gearboxes. Torque dampeners on both sides of the center gearbox help minimize driveline and gearbox damage caused from sudden shockloads. Massive 2-3/8" diameter output shafts in the outboard gearboxes provide optimum service. The pull-type units require a 55 HP (minimum) tractor and the lift-type unit requires a 70 HP (minimum) tractor with adequate front weights.
TW168
The Rhino TW168 -- 14', heavy-duty, row crop shredder is built tough to shred stalks efficiently, including corn, cotton, milo, and vegetable crops with less maintenance than conventional flail units.
Available in 540 and 1000 RPM with a lift, pull, or semi-mount hitch, the 168" shredding width of the TW168 is ideal for 4-wide or 6-narrow row crop applications. At the heart of the TW168 are heavy-duty gearboxes featuring massive 2-3/8" diameter output shafts. The rolled edge design of the reinforced 10 gauge deck is tied into the the 1/4"x11" side skirts for maximum strength and easy clean off. The 11" deep side skirts can easily handle large volumes of material. With the addition of the optional shredding attachment, the TW168 features 12 free-swinging and four stationary blades for increased shredding action. Also included is a baffle system to evenly distribute the shredded material across the width of the machine. The rugged Cat 4 driveline and the gearboxes are protected from sudden shockloads by a heavy-duty slip clutch and rubber torque dampeners for minimal downtime.
