Slewing Ring Type Rigid Rotators Hold Their Last Position Without Creeping, Which Means They Will Provide A Sharp, Distinct 'Rotation Start' & 'Distinct Rotation' Stop (Braking), Particularly Compared To Vane Type Rotators Which Will Creep A Bit From Last Position, But Provide A Softer 'Rotation Start' & 'Softer Rotation Stop'.
Slew Ring Type Rotators Are Intended For Extreme Loads, While Vane Type Rotators Can Be More Suitable For Longer Loads That Can Introduce More Inertia At Starting & Stopping!
